Looking forward to seeing the kids I grew up with.  I thought our parents and teachers were antiques when we were graduating from high school. Now were are a generation past where they were then abd still getting around ok.

My dad would have gone to this for sure!  He was a King Mustang, c/o 1966 after attending Ray beforehand.  I hope everyone has a great time.

Hi everyone! Hard to believe that 50 years has passed since we were teenagers graduating from high school. I've been to every reunion and they just keep getting better. Don't miss this one!  

50 years........how about that. I hope there will be some old buddies from Wynn Seale who will be there. We all grew up together in the old neighborhood and went on to Ray. It will be nice to see EVERYONE. Those were the best of times. My brother Tom and his wife Pam are also coming. He knew a lot of you folks and looks forward to going. See Ya'll in September. I just can't believe that it has been 50 years.  It just seems like yesterday we were at Ray.  Time seemed to pass so slowly back then and now the years disappear  with disturbing speed.   I have worked on every reunion since the 10 year and I have to say this group is amazingly talented, hardworking and creative.  This will be an epic reunion and I encourage everyone who has already signed up to encourage your old friends (because we all are) to come to the party.  I think at our age it is important to reconnect with the cast of your youth.

FIRST, I AM NOT YELLING, EVEN THOUGH LATELY MY PRECIOUS ELIZABETH HAS HAD THE NEED TO RAISE HER AUDIBLE LEVEL WHEN SHE FINDS THE NEED TO ASK ME SOMETHING. THIS IS MY WAY OF BEING ABLE TO SEE WHAT I AM WRITING.   SECOND, I WOULD THINK THAT AT THIS TIME OF OUR LIVES, THINKING OF A HIGH SCHOOL REUNION, WE BEGIN MENTALLY SEEING FRIENDS IN OUR PAST, RETURNING TO OLD PHOTOS, YEARBOOKS, PERIODICALY HAVING OUR SPECIAL DREAMS AND WONDER HOW TO GREET THOSE THAT HAD IMPRESSIONS ON US AFTER THESE FIFTY YEARS.   FOR ME, COMPANIONS LIKE ROBERT MALDONADO, EUGENE KIDDY, DANNY CRAIN, MIKE BLAINE, JIM MITCHELL, BILLY AND BRENT TURNER, TOMMY EASLEY, SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO YOU BUB, AND SPECIAL SCHOOL MATES LIKE MARY MONTES, DEBBIE DODSON, BRENDA EDENS, GRACIE MARTINEZ, JANICE CATCHINGS AND ESPECIALLY THE TEXAN BAND MEMBERS, WHICH I ALWAYS ENJOYED GOING TO THEIR FUNCTIONS AFTER OUR FOOTBALL GAMES AND ESPECIALLY YOU SANDRA.   I DO LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU THAT ATTEND.   BLESSED ARE ALL OF YOU.   PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL.

Wow 50 years already, look forward to the reunion.

I didn't go to any reunions until the 30th.  I had so much fun and have gone to every one since then. Now, I hafta talk my wife (Linda Tong St.George, King, Class of '67) to go with me this year.  Can I get some help here to get her to go?  Anybody know her?

Who from the Ray/King bands will be there for the festivities?

If the secret to happiness is good health and a bad memory, I should have a great time. I have never been to a reunion but my only request is that everyone wear a name tag.    (Working on getting thinner and richer before Oct 1)

This is an incredibly informative site.  It is so much fun reading about everyone.  My husband and I just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary.  Met Tom Willome at the Y camp in Estes Park in 1967 (I'd gone to Southwestern U for 1 year).  Married him in 1969 at First United Methodist Church.   Thanks to all who put all this together.
